Rental overview
Sagamore Sky Boats offers hourly rentals of a Twin Jet Yamaha powerboat departing from Oyster Bay, Long Island. The base rate is $120/hr for up to 6 guests. Optional water skis and tube equipment may be added for $50/hr.
Eligibility & operator requirements
- Renter must be at least 21 years old and present a valid government-issued photo ID.
- A qualified operator must hold a valid boating safety certificate where required by New York law.
- Operators must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Maximum capacity is 6 persons including the operator.
Safety requirements
- US Coast Guard–approved life jackets are required for all passengers and must be worn as directed.
- Follow all local speed limits, no-wake zones, and navigation rules.
- Weather or sea conditions may require cancellation or early return at the operator's discretion.
- Towing activities (skis/tube) require an additional spotter when required by law.
- Swimming is permitted only when the engine is off and conditions are safe.
Booking, payment & cancellation
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed upon successful payment.
- Online booking requires at least 2 hours notice before your start time.
- Same-day or last-minute requests within 2 hours must be arranged by phone at (917) 656-6100.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- Cancellations made 48+ hours before the scheduled start time receive a full refund.
- Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a fee or credit at our discretion.
- No-shows are non-refundable.

Assumption of risk & liability waiver
Boating involves inherent risks including injury, drowning, collision, and property damage. By booking, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Sagamore Sky Boats, its owners, and agents shall not be liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from ordinary negligence except where prohibited by law. Renter accepts responsibility for damage to the vessel caused by misuse, negligence, or violation of these terms and may be charged for repairs, cleaning, or downtime.
Equipment & fuel
The rental includes the boat and standard safety equipment. Water skis and tube are optional add-ons. Fuel is included for standard use. Excessive fuel consumption due to misuse may incur additional charges.
Privacy
We collect name, email, and booking details to process reservations and send confirmations. Payment data is handled by Stripe and not stored on our servers. We do not sell personal information.
